“ We stopped here for a late lunch - straight forward cod and chips. I have to say it is the best I have ever had. The fish was fresh and the batter was cooked to perfection and didn’t sit on the stomach afterwards as I have experienced at other restaurants. All washed down with a mug of tea. The service was excellent and staff were friendly. It's a bit cosy but that adds to the character of the place. ”
“ Popped in today for chips to eat at the harbour. Fantastic friendly service and all the food going to the sit down customers looked amazing. Chips were freshly cooked and delicious and I received a free sausage as we had to wait a couple of minutes. Thank you guys, we’ll be back for a sit down meal soon. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ”
“ Came to Ozzies today as we are staying in whitstable for a few days and my oh my what wonderful food we have just had. We had Cod and chips and Cod pieces and chips and the Fish was so Beautiful...lovely and light with great batter as well..I thought we had the best Fish shop in Essex but now that award goes to Ossies restaurant..staff also was excellent..everyone get yourself down there and you won't be disappointed...5 stars ”
“ I live far away in southend but anytime I travel near whistable, I have to call into Ossies fish n chips shop in the highstreet.The quality of the food is Amazing, most times I have The Haddock and chips it is absolutely delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful, it has a nice atmosphere . id give them 5***** every time And all of this for a reasonable price WELL DONE OSSIES ”

We sat in and would say the only thing missing from a well laid out restaurant is maybe a bit of music or radio just to add to the background. Still one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. ”
